Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION BY US

If the Kathryn Saunby Art Studio finds it necessary to cancel a class/workshop or course, all participants/students will be notified immediately.

If a course must be cancelled completely the art studio will give students the opportunity of a full refund or will transfer their payment to another suitable course available at the studio on the grounds that there are still spaces available.

If unplanned or unforeseen circumstances prompt a singular session of a multi-week course to be cancelled because of tutor unavailability the art studio will contact all students informing them of an alternative date to make up the total amount of sessions. If the studio is physically unable to open its doors, we will fulfil our obligations by delivering the lessons via Zoom inline,

CANCELLATION BY YOU

As you will understand, all our classes have limited spaces and take considerable preparation by the tutors, therefore, once booked, all courses, classes and workshops are non-refundable. In these circumstances there is the option for you to find someone else to take your place. The studio will need to be informed of the name of the new participant. The exception to the non-refundable rule is if you are booked onto a one day workshop and you receive and order to self isolate beforehand. In this case we will need proof of self isolation by email, we will then release a credit note to carry forward to another workshop of your choice.

MISSED LESSONS / COURSES

If a student is unable to attend a class due to unforeseen circumstances, we ask all students to let us know, so we don’t create/prepare resources for the lesson. If you are booked onto a course and miss a session, we do not offer a refund for that one-off session. This is because we cannot offer that slot to another individual. Depending on availability, you may be able to catch up your missed lesson on another week. Any catch-up lessons must be completed within the time frame of your course. Missed lessons cannot be carried over to a new block.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

We aim to deliver all advertised classes. However, courses may be cancelled or changed if enrolment numbers are too low or in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

For up and running courses, if the studio is unable to open we will fulfil our obligations for this course by delivering the lessons via Zoom online.

Dates of courses, classes and workshops are provisional and subject to change.

We reserve the right to introduce changes to the information on the website, including the addition, withdrawal, relocation or restructuring of the courses.

Fees may vary from the published prices.
