Pottery Painting

Join us for pottery painting at the art studio in Melton Mowbray.  We are open every Saturday afternoon in term time and  Wednesday  through to Saturdays in the school holiday.  We also have other one day workshops appear on our schedule throughout the yearlike pottery and prosecco evenings.

Our general open sessions are for all ages, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  We offer a fun and relaxing atmosphere for people of all ages and we have a wide range of pots to choose from, including tableware to children’s figurines. Everyone can create something extra special, perfect for unique gifts or memorable keepsakes. Prices start at £6 all the way through to £30 and we have over 80 different pots to choose from.

We also host children’s parties and adults’ parties, guide you to create baby hand and foot prints, deliver artisan pottery painting courses and create commissioned pottery pieces for any occasion you may wish to celebrate. You can even bring your (well behaved) dog to print a paw print. (This has to be a seperate booking not in the main open sessions.)

What Happens if my pot breaks?

Unfortunately when things are fired at a temperature 1020c cracking or breaking can sometimes occur.  At the studio our policy is to give you another go for free to paint the same piece again for free in one of our open sessions.

PLEASE NOTE AFTER FIRING WE ONLY KEEP PEOPLE’S POTTERY FOR A MAXIMUM OF 6 MONTHS AS WE HAVE VERY LIMITED STORAGE

Turn Around Time

Pots take one to two and a half weeks to be fired, depending on how long it takes us to fill the kiln, we will contact you when they are ready
