Art, Craft, or Pottery Painting Parties at the Studio
This is a great way to celebrate someone’s birthday, a work event or even a hen do, suitable for all ages.
Depending on availability, parties can be booked at any time of the year, day or evening. Please be aware we are generally very busy at weekends and booking well in advance is advised.
When you book a creative art or craft party at the studio your group can choose to complete one of the options below.
Art Party
With tuition from a professional artist, your group can choose from several pieces of art to create and take home, varying in subject matter and medium, so we should have something for everyone’s taste. On the day the party will take place in your own private room, with your own fabulous tutor and if required space to set up party food and drinks. We can arrange access for you to come in beforehand to organise decorations and food. A 2hr party is a minimum price of £160 for up to 6 people, which includes private room, personal tuition and all of your art supplies, refreshments and biscuits, for additional people (up to 16 participants maximum) it will be a further £20 per head. For an extra £15, you can book the studio for an extra half an hour to give you time to eat any of your own party food.
Marbling Inks
In this 2-hour session the group will make their own marbled paper, then dry it after seeing the amazing patterns and colours develop. Then they will be taught to cover a sketchbook with their very own marbled paper to take home. The sketchbooks look amazing once finished and everyone leaves happy, with a beautiful sketch book to use for etchings! If there is time we also get to make cards decorated with the marbled paper. On the day the party will take place in your own private room, with your own fabulous tutor and if required, space to set up party food and drinks. We can arrange access for you to come in beforehand to organise decorations and food. A 2hr party is a minimum price of £165 for up to 6 people, which includes private room, personal tuition and all of your art supplies, refreshments and biscuits, for additional people (up to 16 participants maximum) it will be a further £22 per head. Lino Prints
In this session the party goers will carve their own simple lino print with tools. Once the carving is finished, they will use printing ink
to cover the carving and use it to print on to good quality paper. The prints could be framed or used as greetings cards. They look fabulous when done and it is a skill that people can very easily carry on at home. On the day the party will take place in your own private room, with your own fabulous tutor and if required, space to set up party food and drinks. We can arrange access for you to come in beforehand to organise decorations and food. Pottery Painting
The party goers will get the choice of 25 different bisque pottery items to choose to paint. Plates, mugs, small vases, bowls or a figurine. We will provide a catalogue of designs to use as inspiration or there is an option to bring your own designs on the day. We will teach how to paint the chosen item and then the pottery will be glazed. After the glazing, we will fire the pottery to return in 7 days time. The masterpieces will then be ready to collect from the studio. Wand Making
As imagined this is not just for the children, plenty of adults out there also want to make their own wand. We will take you through the process of creating your wooden wand with gemstone head pieces for the extra flourish. On the day the party will take place in your own private room, with your own fabulous tutor and if required, space to set up party food and drinks. We can arrange access for you to come in beforehand to organise decorations and food.
